The Director
Born and bred in a town near Bournemouth on the South Coast of the UK, Matthew Kay spent years working as an onsite tradesman before starting his own businesses within the trade industry. His hands-on experience on sites across the region gave him a real understanding of the hard work, long hours, and dedication that tradespeople put in every day.
After years in the industry, Matthew went on to build and operate multiple trade-related businesses, gaining extensive experience in business development, marketing, customer service, and supporting local companies to grow.
As Director of TradeSurv, Matthew’s vision is to create a trusted platform that genuinely supports local tradespeople that are properly set up, verified and vetted and helps connect them with homeowners and businesses in their communities. His passion for supporting local businesses and modernising the industry is at the heart of everything TradeSurv stands for.
Matthew believes in honest service, strong local communities, and creating opportunities for hardworking tradesmen across the UK to grow and succeed.
What is TradeSurv?
Tradesurv is the Uk’s local trade directory to help consumers connect with local reputable traders that has undergone extensive vetting to ensure that the consumer is dealing with a properly set up company.
Traders have a profile page with details about the company, gallery pictures of previous and on-going work and genuine customer feedback reviews.
What makes TradeSurv different to other platforms?
- Only local Trades advertised in postcode order so that you can find the closest reputable companies.
- We don’t sell leads just advertise the traders.
- We limit the amount of traders in each area as we believe only local traders get a chance to quote for the local work.
- Members must have at least 2 years positive trading history.
- Members must have an active Health and safety policy.
- No sole Traders.
